Seven years of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB)

The Seven Year Itch – a good time to look back and ahead. Since the AIIB became operational in 2016, membership and lending have grown enormously. The AIIB is the first multilateral bank with major Chinese shareholding.

Where do we stand after 7 years of experience?

The bank advertises itself as more innovative than the World Bank and as able to create “sustainable infrastructure for tomorrow”. But how sustainable are the funded projects? How accountable? And where is the innovation? We want to debate these and other issues of relevance to both civil society organizations from Asia and European decision-makers.

Please register here and choose whether to attend in person or online.
