Human rights education
Human rights education is fundamental to the fulfilment of human rights. Its aims are to publicise human rights, to promote their implementation and to empower people to advocate for human rights.
Monitoring is the systematic and regular observation of whether and how human rights are being fulfilled. Monitoring is an essential part of states’ obligation to implement human rights treaties.
