ABC of Human Rights for Development Cooperation: European Human Rights System
This electronic info tool complements The ABC of Human Rights for Development Cooperation. It gives an over view of the human rights system of the Council of Europe (CoE) in Strasbourg and its relevance for development cooperation. It addresses development practitioners, civil society organisations, and the interested public. It seeks to encourage the use of the CoE human rights system in policy dialogue and programming within the context of development cooperation in Europe. In addition, the info tool provides useful information on best practices in regional human rights protection and monitoring mechanisms for practitioners working outside Europe.
